Saturday: Explore Riyadh

  • This morning, start your day by visiting Masmak Fort, in Riyadh's old quarter, built during the reign of
  • Abdullah bin Rashid in 1895 A.D. Afterwards, explore the Dirah Souq, a market famed for colorful textiles from silk to luxurious pashminas.
  • Proceed to the National Museum of Saudi Arabia, a national treasure and World Heritage Site, composed of eight galleries that tell the complete story of Arabian history - from the creation of the universe to the modern era.
  • Continue to Murabba Palace, built by King Abdul Aziz in 1937. A family dwelling, it was constructed from local materials and is composed of several smaller palaces, service buildings, and the Royal Diwan.
  • Enjoying your lunch at Najd Village Restaurant (Authentic Saudi cuisine).
  • After lunch, you will get a chance to explore Al-Rajhi Mosque, which was built by Sheikh Sulaiman Bin
  • Abdulaziz al-Rajhi and opened in 2004. The mosque includes several facilities that serve visitors for performing prayers, memorizing the Quran, and attending religious events and lectures. It is one of the important Islamic institutions in Riyadh and is equipped with an interpretation system for four languages.
  • Later, continue your tour to visit Faisaliyah Sky Bridge, which’s an observation deck located at the top of the Al Faisaliyah Tower, offering panoramic views of the city. It's a popular tourist attraction known for its stunning views and unique architectural design. The bridge is part of the Al Faisaliyah Center complex, which also includes a shopping mall and other amenities.
  • Finally, you will have a chance to Taibah Market, which is one of the oldest markets in Riyadh. Despite the sweep of modern commercial malls, it is still a main destination for the people of the city to purchase necessities, antiques, and many others, as the prices of its goods compete with the rest of the markets. The market is also the first choice for women, as it contains the largest selection of clothing stores, and abayas in particular, in addition to shops that sell gold and jewelry.
  • Around 18:00, you will return to your hotel for evening at leisure by your own & overnight.

Next, you will experience the heritage listed Diriyah, an historic site on the outskirts of Riyadh, which is said
to be the birthplace of the first Saudi state and is today the current home of the royal family. The mud-brick
walls once fortified a thriving desert city that was a powerhouse of culture and commerce. In 1745, the city
was named the country's capital, laying the foundations for what would later become a unified Saudi Arabia.
Later on, continue to Riyadh Boulevard City, which’s popular for its several landmark attractions like
Square sub-zone, a replica of New York's Times Square, Takenda centre and the London's Coventry Street
inspired Trocadero area.
Finally, you will be transferred back to your hotel for overnight.

Monday: Depart Riyadh
